MASSED EXPRESSION

Hydrangeas are one of the most versatile materials for creating mass in an arrangement.

The dense, clustered form of Hydrangeas becomes even more striking when contrasted with the delicate, pig-tail-like shape of Veronica, which adds a touch of lightness to the overall composition.

SHAPE OF THE CONTAINER

The containers are an integral part of your Ikebana, and their color, shape, size, and texture should all be considered when choosing complementary plant materials.

In this arrangement, I extended the movement of the vase by incorporating branches that echo its shape and flow.

IKEBANA FOR CHRISTMAS

Any container can be used as a vase for Ikebana.  In this arrangement, I’ve chosen a crimson-colored Japanese lacquered Bento box.

The flowers include white Ping Pong Mums, red Wild Rose Hips, and green Wattle leaves, creating a festive, Christmas-inspired feel.
